I’ve experienced tough parenting assignments both personally and professionally. For 30 years, I worked with children facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, and then I became a mom myself, navigating the lack of proper support for parents in similar situations.

Drawing from my background as an elite athlete, coach, and professional life coach, I developed a unique approach rooted in Attachment, Empathy, and Habit Building. After testing my methods, I saw incredible results, especially for parents with tough assignments.

The steps to take during interactions with your child. We teach you exactly what to say, do, and even think to manage yourself in the heat of the moment. We break down the process into micro-moments so you feel confident and prepared.

Post-Game

The steps to take after interactions with your child. Every great coach takes notes after a game. We teach you how to gently assess what happened so you know what to replicate and what to adjust for next time.

Follow-Through

The support needed to make your new habits stick. We provide scripts, cheat-sheets, reminders, checklists, and video trainings so you have long-term success. We’re all about results and we know what it takes to get them.

Office Hours

Parents with children ages 0–16 years. If you love your child(ren) but are currently yelling often enough to make you feel guilty or concerned, this program is for you.

We take an athletic approach to parenting and rely on best practices from a variety of sources. Our process applies elements of Coaching, Psychology, and Mindfulness. In The Stop Yelling Program we promote empathy, love, and limits.

All yelling feels awful but only you know if it’s too much. That said, signs of excessive yelling are when a parent feels the urge to yell is outside their control, yelling has become a regular pattern, and you believe your kids “only listen when I yell.”

Each lesson is short – some a few minutes, the longest are about 20 minutes. Total self-paced instruction time is 3 hours. Office Hours are 1 hour each week. Practice is about 5 minutes daily.

Parents from all family systems are welcome. Office Hours maintain a safe, supportive atmosphere.

Office Hours occur in our confidential members-only Zoom room.

Yes! Every student may ask one question per Office Hour. We will answer as many as we can. If time runs short, we will answer remaining questions in our members-only online group.

Our course offers a game-changing combination of the very best information taught by a seasoned, renowned parenting coach and master teacher. We also provide live office hours for everyone to ask questions and get purposeful feedback. We take an athletic training approach to parenting because parenting is the mother of all marathons. We are confident you will love your results.

Laine is a Master Teacher with dual degrees from Brown University, Parent Educator, Certified Professional Coach, collegiate athletic coach, former elite athlete, and mom. In addition to her private practice, Laine is an author, public speaker, and has been featured in multiple outlets.

If you participate fully (attend all office hours, use our methods, and practice daily) you will be a calmer and happier parent. Yelling will dramatically reduce and could stop completely. Of course, results vary. In the end, dear friend, your results are up to you.
